The Peekapoo is a happy and energetic designer breed that is a cross between a Pekingese and Toy or Miniature Poodle. We also have Peekachon puppies, which are a cross between a Pekingese and a Bichon Frise. Bichon Frises are very similar to Poodles with their hypoallergenic coat and temperament.
We understand that adopting a puppy is a huge responsibility, so don’t be afraid to give us a call! We are more than happy to answer any questions you have before and after you adopt your little Peekapoo (Peekachon) puppy. We still hear from families that adopted puppies from us months ago! Unlike some breeders, we want to form a community of Peekapoo (Peekachon) lovers that gives our puppies the love and attention they deserve. Our outreach grows each year; you can adopt our designer breed puppies across the east coast. If you are looking to purchase a Peekapoo (Peekachon) puppy, please browse through our collection page and see if one of our sweethearts makes you smile. If so, do not hesitate to schedule an appointment to meet your potential new family member!
The Peekapoo is an active and energetic dog. They thrive in an environment where they can be surrounded by other people and if properly socialized at a young age they can be great with other animals. Their small size makes them great for apartment living, but they do require daily exercise so a nice backyard or daily short walks will keep your pup happy and healthy! While they do need exercise, it is important not to over exercise your puppy or leave them out in the heat for long periods of time; Peekapoos can suffer from respiratory problems and over heating.
The Peekapoo (Peekachon) makes up for its size in personality! They love their family members and will make sure that you know they are there whether it is with a bark or puppy kisses! They are a vocal breed, which makes them great watchdogs. They are also intelligent, so when taught at a young age your puppy can pick up training fairly quickly.
For grooming, a Peekapoo will benefit from weekly brushing.
