Puppy Training Programs

Why Get a Trained Puppy?

What to Expect

Bringing home a new puppy should be one of the most exciting, rewarding experiences of your life. However, once the cute puppy is home and puppy training begins, many owners quickly see how challenging raising a well-behaved, well-mannered puppy can be. Unless you work from home or have countless hours to devote to obedience training, a new puppy often brings frustration instead of elation. A new puppy is much like a new baby and oftentimes it’s what we do in puppyhood that determines how well- behaved and balanced our grown dog becomes.

So, why don’t you LEAVE THE HARD WORK TO US?

Let us train your puppy!

At HappyTail Puppies Pawsitive Training your pup will be trained in a household setting by professionals with over fifteen years of experience. Your pup will become part of our extended family! We help cut down on the hassles of puppyhood training and create a solid foundation you can easily build upon. Basically, we set your puppy up on the path to success. Many owners bring a new pup home with the belief that he/she intrinsically knows what to do is simply not the case. All puppies, no matter the breed, need constant guidance and supervision if he is to become the amazing family dog you want him to be. By Enrolling your pup in one of our training programs not only are you taking a lot of the puppyhood stress off yourself, but you are giving your puppy the ultimate opportunity to flourish in adulthood.

We use both positive reinforcement and training techniques as well as dog psychology and canine behavioral science to train your puppy.  We primarily use reward-based training. However, we believe that every dog must learn right vs. wrong and yes vs no. We teach this through commands, facial expressions, hand gestures, body language and tone of voice. We teach your puppy how to calmly and effectively express their needs and wants.
